Cast Of The GHOSTBUSTERS Reboot Revealed

The director of "Bridesmaids" has been given the task of rebooting the much loved Ghostbusters franchise and he has decided to get a 4-some of ladies to help.

The all-new, all-female Ghostbusters are here.

Melissa McCarthy has signed on for the reboot, and the studio is now negotiating with Kristen Wiig as well as Saturday Night Live cast members Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon.

Negotiations are ongoing, but the quartet are all expected to sign on to the reboot, which is eyeing this summer to begin shooting in New York.

The Ghostbusters reboot has been going through a long development process. Original director Ivan Reitman was on board to return, but while original castmembers Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson had agreed to reprise their characters, Bill Murray proved elusive. Reitman then bowed out of the project when Ramis passed away last year.

Following Reitman's departure, Feig was approached to direct and re-imagined the project as a reboot starring an all-female cast.
