Report: SPIDER-MAN Will Debut In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Now that the Spider-Man deal has been announced, I hope you're ready for an avalanche of rumors.

Wall Street Journal is reporting that an unnamed source "with knowledge of the matter" is telling them that Marvel's prodigal son will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Shooting for Civil War will begin in April for the May 6, 2016 release.

Captain America: Civil War will already feature a number of returning heroes such as Cap, Iron Man and Black Widow along with the debut of Black Panther (played by Chadwick Boseman), but the inclusion of Spider-Man (by an actor as-yet-to-be-revealed) takes this movie to new heights.

Spider-Man was a key part the Civil War storyline in the comics so this makes the most sense as the movie to debut him in.

It was assumed that Black Panther would fill his role in the story but there were also rumors Marvel had set aside a more Spidey friendly version of the script just in case.

Marvel and Sony will use the excitement of an all-new Spider-Man built in the MCU to drive the a solo film, which will be released on July 28, 2017.
